He has some REALLY funny lines! He's one of those villains that you hate to love and love to hate. I think it's hysterical when he gets all fired up and mad. I laugh so hard during those parts, there's just something so fun about watching Hades being tortured by the fact that he can't beat "wonderboy." It's priceless!!

I know! I love how he can't hide the fact that he's ticked off!
He is a very funny villain. But he is also one of the worst kinds. He reminds me a lot of a Lawyer, or a Car Salesman. He can make you think that what he wants you to do is a good thing, when really the only person who is going to benefit from it is him!
Plus, he kicks you when you're down. After he convinces Hercules to give up his strength for Meg...he can't just be off on his way and take over Olympus. No, he has to make sure that Herc knows that Meg was working with him to bring him down, this way not only will his body be weak...but he won't have a reason to fight. I really despise him...but I love how funny he is too! As you said...he's one of those villains you love to hate, and hate to love!

OMG! I totally agree with you Natalie on how Hades is similiar to a car salesman or laywer. He tries to convince Meg that he'll let her free if she brings down Herc and that he has her best interests in mind, but he really doesn't. Hades is quite selfish and manipulative.
And what he did with Herc after he took away his strength was totally cruel. It's one thing to weaken someone physically but going even further and weakening someone emotionally is over the top! Poor Hercules! He even knew that he loved her too, and then Hades had to go off and be an arse.
Yeah, I pretty much despise him too. Even if he is funny...

Um....... *coughs and points to avatar* do I have to say anything to clarify my opinion? Sure, I agree with all of you. Hades is a totally lawyer like, cheesy villain, but that's part of his charm. Without his personality, what would you be left with? A normal villain. Who wants that? Besides, he's HILARIOUS!!!!! I love his unique essence! Maybe it's just that I feel a bit bad for the guy *ducks the flying objects from those that disagree* I mean, if you were stuck in the Underworld 24/7, my guess is that you wouldn't be Mr./Ms. Sunshine 100% of the time.

Nope you don't have to say anything to clarify your opinion. I had that figured out since I first saw your avatar. You're right, who wants another boring villain? Hades personality makes him who he is, whether you like him or not. Yesum, Hades is very much the comedian. No doubt about it. Ooo! Very true about living in the Underwold 24/7. I would be an emo if I had to live there. lol. I'd be far from Miss Sunshine. And don't worry, I don't plan on throwing random objects at you. That would be very immature of me. Besides, I like you!

Oh yes. I totally feel the love chickeepoo! Uh-oh. Here I go getting off topic again. I'm my own OT police. I guess about Hades, there are times when I despise him, but overall he's a pretty good character. He's never boring at all, for sure.

Definately! Never a dull moment when he's around. You'd be too busy hoping to leave the vicinity without third-degree burns!

Lol. I must agree with you on that.
I don't think it'd be possible to escape the underworld without getting third-degree burns or getting eaten or attacked by Hades' vicious (and probably rabid, knowing Hades...) three-headed attack dog. I don't remember the name of the darn thing!

You think that dog is cute? Are you kidding me? That three headed pooch (Ceberus) is SCARY!! I wouldn't wanna mess with that thing!! I'd be running like no other if I ever had to cross paths with it!! "Obsessed much?" I think not. I'm just as guilty as you are. So are all of us Herc fans.

No, not as an adult Cerberus. That mutt is a tad......... frightening. But as a puppy, too cute. Did you ever see the T.V. episode, "Hercules and the visit from Zeus?" Puppy Cerberus is in that. He's cute. Not adorable, but for a giant three-headed man-eating puppy, yeah, he's cute.
