Yes. Hades is an excellent villain. And I find it even funnier that such a manipualtive, scheming, lawyer-like, persuasive, egocentric, devious, controlling villain like him can be paired with such a sweet, caring, wonderful, and charming hero like Hercules. What's even better is that he looses! He can't get over the fact that a nice, goody-two-sandals like Herc can stand in his way from total cosmic conquest. Hades thinks Hercules doesn't even pose a threat to him, until he finds himself being kicked back to Tartarus. He's like the whiny, self-absorbed child of Olympus. When he doesn't get what he wants, his wrath will fire down upon those standing within shooting distance. And since he's very overly confident, his downfall is imminent. Poor guy. But, in his defense, I will say that I think this pent up anger and resentment comes from standing in the shadow of his brother, Zeus (who in the movie, happens to be older) I guess sibling rivalry is only natural, and I guess it's a little unfair that our favorite Lord of the Dead is stuck in Gloomsville 24/7, but you don't go killing innocent heroes-to be over it! Maybe Hades should stop being such a megalomaniac and start focusing on his job, which happens to be important, even if he doesn't see it that way. Those dead stiffs won't swim across Styx ya know. What a ranttttt, Bella! I do agree though, Hades should start focusing on something that he is accomplished at, which is his job. He shouldn't constantly be worried about world domination, because that's an unreasonable goal to have in the first place. Hercules didn't deserve any of what Hades did to him at all. Herc is just a sweet, caring guy. I don't think sibling rivalry or jealousy gives anyone an excuse to torture their nephew, it just doesn't. While it's very apparent that Hades has a lot of unresolved anger and resentment towards Zeus, it's clear that he needs to get those feelings sorted out. Can you say therapy, Hades?

Dude Bella!!! Yes!!!! Poor Herc did not deserve anything. I mean, the only crime he committed was being born, which isn't a crime at all!

Ha, yeah. He either needs a girlfriend, or a LOT of anger management. And a huge fire extinguisher!
Glad you all liked my rant!

Yes he needs a girlfriend to keep him company. Or maybe he'll just burn her.
