Yes, what you've said is very true. It's very clear that they both need each other. I'm glad that Herc came into her life, or she would've been miserable and working for Hades until she passed. She needed a guy like Herc to teach her that while not all men are genuine, he was, and that it was okay to (I'm going to quote a Goo Goo Dolls song here! ) 'let love in' again. It was okay to allow it into her life once more. They make each other so happy.

Excellent point!
I love the way they understand each other and seem to just enjoy being together. It isn't an over-lovie relationship.

Very true. They aren't over lovie at all. I think that there are times when they get that way. All couples do, it isn't OOC in the slightest.

Exactly. I agree.

Herc's just really shy. That may be part of the reason he gulped. I never thought of hormones/ Herc. His mind doesn't seem to turn the way normal guys' do. I could never be a suductive as Meg. Do you think, partly, she meant to flirt? Or do ya think she was just doing her job?

Perhaps. I can see where you're coming from, and can agree with you on that. Herc is very shy, and didn't know how to handle the situation at first.
I think that Meg was trying to do both, flirt and get her job done. We already learned from a few of her first lines when her and Hercules met that she's a bit of a flirt. So, that'd only be considered normal behavior for her.

Well, I mean, do you think she likes him at that time? When do you think Meg starts to LIKE Herc?

Yes, I do think that she liked him at the time. Because after Phil discovers her and Herc together (they were about to kiss) and they leave, Meg sings "I Won't Say I'm in Love," in which she is denying that she loves Hercules. I think that she started liking Hercules in the scene where Hades unleashed the hydra on Herc. After Pain and Panic scramble up and transform back into themselves (they were boys prior to that) you hear Meg say softly: "Get outta there you big lug, while you still can." Or something to that extent. She's concerned about him and doesn't want him to get hurt, so she must like him.

I think Meg was just afraid to admit that she felt something for Herc, even though she did almost all through the movie.

Exactly. It's very apparent that Meg had a bad past experience with love, and she was afraid of falling in love again. She didn't want to get hurt. That's obvious from the time that Hades brings up her old boyfriend while he's trying to coax her into finding out Herc's weaknesses. It was easier for Meg to deny the fact that she was in love, as opposed to being upfront and admitting it.

But she finally does admit it, at which point my heart does a 360 in my chest. *sighs and swoons*

Same here, Bella. Same here. It was good going on Meg's part! Too bad the muses had to bug the crap out of her before she got around to doing it!

Yeah, but she needed a push, otherwise, she'd never had fallen into a pool of love. (ok, that just sounded corny! Why did I type that??? )

Cheesy/corny stuff is cute! ;D I don't object to it at all.
Yes, Meg did need that push, or else she wouldn't have been able to admit the seemingly obvious! ^^ We still love her though! And we love Herc for being such a sweetie to her. He's really crazy about her!
