Here we go, Bella. All done. Now... Where to start on Herc and Meg? Hmmm... -scratches head in wonderment- Oh, I KNOW! They're the cutest couple EVARR! Yup. Uh-huh... -scolds self- Now let's think of something worthwhile to say about them, Eve!! Uh... They're perfect for each other. Yes, now we're getting somewhere. Herc and Meg are a lot different from each other, but opposites attract. I really think that Meg could give Herc the boost in confidence that he needs and make him realize how special he really is. Also, Herc has already taught Meg how to lighten up and let her guard down. Yes, the best relationships are the ones in which you learn things.

Yes, that they do. Assist in each other's faults. That's a good way of putting it. They make each other feel better about themselves and believe that they're worthwhile. That's a big element with them. Bella, Bella, Bella. While I also adore Herc, I've accepted the fact that he's with Meg. ( Albeit, I've accepted it begrudingly...) Herc is all Meg's, and the sooner you and Natalie come to grips with it, the happier you'll be. -wink wink nudge nudge- Besides, your pals here at DO can make up for the loss of Hercie Wercie. Ohlookatthis! I'm still not getting any writing done! Dammit! Why must I be so easily distracted? Oh, I know! Because the perfectly formed words in my brain, don't want to work their magic and dance onto the keyboard! D'oh!

Yay!! I hope that Hades will take you out for dinner! I wouldn't trade you guys for anything either.
What else about Herc and Meg...? I think that the fact that they really trust each other (after the whole Meg goes behind Herc's back cuz she's workin' for Hades fiasco) well. And they're so sweet together. I've noticed that Herc has softened Meg. I s'pose you notice it most in the garden scene.

Yes. Meg looks so sweet when Herc kisses her on the cheek *sigh* Adorable! And yes, Herc really loved her to trust her even though she did what she did. And she sacrifices her life for him. How truly romantic. (sad, yes, but romantic.)
(Oh Hades, you pay! I'm not going Dutch, after all, you ARE the god of wealth!) MEMO TO ME: this is a HERC AND MEG thread. The Hades thread is over there! *zips her lips about Hades and goes back to sighing over the Herc and Meg cuteness factor*

Ahahaha! The last bit about Hades was great. I'm still smiling as I'm typing.
Yes, Meg looked so happy after Herc kissed her on the cheek. Awww. And it was so sweet after Meg pretended to fall ("weak ankles") that she fell into Herc's arms. I have a question about that scene actually...
Okay, so remember after Herc picked Meg up and they both sat down, Meg started to ask Herc about his weaknesses...? Well, she was acting a bit, I guess "seductive" in a sense. Maybe it was the way she was talking. I remember Meg started scooting closer to Herc (and he began moving away), and a strap on her dress fell to her shoulder. Remember how Herc gulped before he moved the strap back into place? I was wondering if you thought it was because he was nervous, or maybe someone was getting a little ummm... hormonal...? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I just wanted to hear your thoughts.

I think so. I think that if I were Herc (let's use our imaginations here) and the beautiful Megara was beinng seductive (which is the right word to use) I'd be a bit hormonal-ish too. Besides, I like delivng into hidden meaning. I went into a rant about their hair accessories once! OY!
I'm glad that made you laugh. ^^

Thanks for your input. I thought the same thing. I was thinking the last time that I watched that scene: "Hmmm... It looks like someone is getting a little hormonal." Let's just face it, since the strap -ahem- fell down to Meg's shoulder, that allowed her dress to reveal a bit more than it was before. And we all know how boy's/men's minds work. I also think that Herc was a bit nervous because he'd never been in that type of situation with a woman before. He'd never been attracted to someone like he was with Meg, so it was probably awkward for him. I bet he was thinking: "Oh, no! The strap of her dress is falling down, what do I do? Why is she talking to me like this? What does this mean?" He probably had a million questions racing through his mind at once, and was in "overload" mode. I'd probably be in the same position that you were in too if I were Herc. I bet any guy would be like: "Whoa! A hot girl's comin' onto me! OMG! I better make sure that my breath smells okay!" Ahahahahahahahahaha. ;D

Oh, yes. I agree. Herc was probably trying to sort out all the questions in his mind (either that or he was trying not to drool over Meg's beauty. LOL) Don't worry Herc. I bet your breath was minty fresh, just like Aladdin's! Poor Herc. That must have been an awkward moment. I also love the part when he first meets her and he dicides to lean against a tree while she's tying her sandal and he almost loses his balance. TOO adorable!

I also love the part when he first meets her and he dicides to lean against a tree while she's tying her sandal and he almost loses his balance. TOO adorable! Yeah, poor Herc. So confused. So clueless about women. -Pats Hercules shoulder affectionately- It's okay, buddy. You got things figured out eventually. I bet Herc was using every ounce of self restraint not to drool over Meg's beauty. Meg is definitely a hottie (I don't mean anything funny by that. BTW. I just mean she's very pretty and I could see why any guy would be attracted to her) and Herc would be a fool not to be in a half dreamy, half "I'm-about-to-drool-all-over-Meg" state. LOL. Yes, Herc, no worries. Your breath smells just as good as Aladdin's, if not BETTER. ;D ♥ ♥ I don't remember that part. That's it. I'm watching Hercules tomorrow. ^_^ Yay!! Another one of my favorite moments between Herc and Meg, is in the garden scene (uh that's already saying enough) when Herc sits down on the ledge of the fountain, takes Meg's hands and says: "Meg, I would never, ever hurt you." Whenever I see that part I'm like: "Awww! How sweet and sensitive of him!" And then I kick the floor in happiness. ;D Oh yeah, and I also like the end scene in 'Lympus when Hercules tells his parents that he'd rather stay on earth with Meg, and that even a mortal with life without her would be empty. Then he takes her in his arms, and they kiss. Yes, that besides the stuff in the garden scene, is amazing, romantic, cute, sappy, and just plain sweet. I also think it's funny when Meg leans back in the middle of their kiss, and Herc gets that surprised look on his face. I bet he was thinking: "Whoa! What happened?" -Once again goes into fangirl obsessive mode- Awww. Awww. Awww. -dies-

OH! I LOVE THAT! And yes, I knew what you meant. Meg is VERY pretty and Herc would have to be silly not to think she's gorgeous.
And (even though I mentioned this before) I love when she says "bye bye Wonderboy" after they meet for the first time. Herc melts into his sandals.
And I love when Meg leans into Herc saying "You know how men are, they think 'no' means 'yes' and 'get lost' means 'take me, I'm yours'." Herc looks completely bewildered and looks to Peg for help. Peg shrugs and Herc looks as if he has NO idea what to say.
*squeals with the cuteness of it all*

Cool. I figured you would get what I was saying.
Herc does melt into his sandals. You can tell. He has that dreamy expression on his face, and he's about five seconds away from melting into a puddle of goo.
I LOVE THAT LINE!! I also think it's funny how Herc looks to Peg and Phil for some help, and they're just like: "Eh..." Once again, poor, clueless Herc. -pats his shoulder again-
-squeals with you-

I know. Meg is definately not what he was expecting in a damsel in distress.

No, not at all. Meg isn't some helpless, needy, panicky girl.
Ummm... What other Herc/Meg scenes do you like in the movie?
