Do you think if Meg had sent Herc off with a smile, he would have left her and went on to become a god?

Um..... I don't know. I think he loved Meg so much that he might not have gone without her at all. But what if he convinced Zeus to turn Meg into a goddess?

I'm not sure if that would have been possible.

Probably not.
But I don't think he would have left even if she wanted him to.

Yeah, he did look really happy. He might have gone, but I bet he would have missed her.

He wouldn't have gone. Nope. I am 1000% sure of it. Even if Meg had been putting on a fake grin. Herc was just happy that he finally reached his goal. He knows that living without Meg would be a life not worth livivng. The only way he would have is if Meg didn't love him, which we all know isn't thacase. Herc loves her too much to have left her. I don't think it was Megs sadness that made him chose to stay, I think it was Meg.

Well said. That is just what I wanted to hear. Besides, do you think he could really adapt as a god? If ya ask me, he's mostly human.
Don't ya think he would have been the god of; strength and heroism?

YAY!!! I said the right thing!!! Yes!!!!
I so agree, he most definatley would have been the God of Strenght and Heroism. I mean, to this day, whenever I hear the word Hero, the first thing to come to my mind is Hercules.
By the way, Lyndsay, I love these question you post. They really get us all to think deeper about things. THANK YOU!!!

That is the first thing to come my mind as well.
Really? I just want to get others opinions and see if my ideas are not completely crazy.

Here's a question. If Hercules had never met Meg, do you think he would be happy as a God?

I don't know. He had lived among mortals most of his life. I'm sure he is more comfortable around them. But, he wouldn't really have a reason to stay a mortal. He became a god in my story.
