John smith was an old bald man, but it is what is on the inside that matters.
Hmmm... If only George Costanza would realize that...

Ha, good point about George Costanza, khoa.

Is it terrible to confess that I enjoyed the friendship between John Smith and John Rolfe more than that between Pocahontas and John Rolfe? (The playful banter was oddly entertaining.) It certainly seemed to have more chemistry and heart brought into it, whereas the latter ... well, it would have been much easier to give it an opportunity were it developed better.
Though, maybe I'm being too biased; as much as I liked John Rolfe -- who was actually charming and nicely developed -- the only one for Pocahontas is, was, and will forever be Captaine Smith. ^~ Needlessly plunging her into a lackluster sequel romance feels so demeaning, wrong, and oddly offensive to her character in the original installment. "Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World" is, I suppose, wonderful evidence against wrongfully tampering with lovely things that needn't be tampered with in the very first place! [grins]

Tis true. I do like John Smith better. But, I'm not a big Mel Gibson fan. I did like 'Signs', though.

Lady in the Water made me jump, but not as much as Signs did. That movie freaked me out.
