I vote YES...because I think she is a Princess. We ALL are princesses!

Meg is a Princess! She is!!!! In actual mythology, her father was Creon, King of Thebes.

I totally think Meg is a princess. I read that essay about Meg being a princess. And she is!! It's in her blood. Completely awesome. But Meg is un-princess like. She's an anti-princess! Hard for to explain why I think that but it's also 11:48 pm here in Denver, so it's hard for me to think oodles of coherent thoughts and back them up with intelligent practical reasons.

Yeah...that tend to happen late at night...but let me try to guess...
She doesn't fit the 'definition' of a Disney Princess. She is a lot more indepenant then you typical princess, and when all of the other princess' are looking for love...she's running from it.

You read my exhausted, incompetent, late night mind. That's exactly what I wanted to say. Meg is too independent to be a princess. She's definitely noble and great at helping people sure, but she's not all saccharine sweet and stuff. She's her own person, and not like any fictional princess we've seen in films or literature. She ran from love until she finally realized who her perfect man was. Even if she denied it at first... Good for Meg for finding her dream man!

I reckon it's about time that we're happy for Meg! Yes, we can melt into a puddle of goo and be jealous, but it's probably better to be happy for our lovely, uber cool Megara!
I also think that Meg would scoff at princesses. She's just not their type. She's kind of above them in my opinion. She's the one with more class and personality. Meg is gentle and kind in her own way, but she ISN'T Little Miss Innocent and Pure.

Amen...she is way cool.
Fine...I am happy for her...but I'm also very jealous.
I can see where you're coming from with the whole Princess thing Eve. I do like all of the other Princess', but there's just something different about Meg!

Sounds like a healthy balance to me! I'm having just as hard a time as you are! Yeah, I think she's different because she has a bit of an edge. That's the only way I can explain it shortly and sweetly; and without rambling on for ages.

I hear ya. I like how she has a 'past', if you get my meaning. She isn't perfect, and I like how through all of her flawas, Herc still loves her. They are jsut so cute together. I like how for once in Disney, it's the woman with all of the confidance, and the man whose more of the shy one. I LOVE IT!

I love it too! That's what makes their relationship so perfect! Meg is there to be strong if Herc ever needs her. And vice versa actually. The movie showed that they're able to be strong for each other. I can also imagine Meg making Herc feel better about himself and reassuring him that he's fine the way he is and such.
