This is such a sad work of writing. It's very moving to kind of witness through Anne's words what happened to her family.

Oh my goodness, her diary is one of my favorite books, and I think she has a most interesting personality. She is really one of those people in history that I would really like to meet if it were possible.

She seems like she was interesting. I agree. It's too bad how her life ended.

I read the play, but never the actual diary. I should sometime!

I could loan it to you! Loaning good books is one of my many secret pleasures (Though it's not a secret anymore...). I was practically giddy when I gave The Thorn Birds to Janelle to read.

I think the first time I read this was in Kelso.

This is such an incredible book. It's so sad though. I almost cried a few times while reading it. But I guess that's only to be expected, I'm Jewish and I'm very sensitive when it comes to The Holocaust.

Yeah, it's a very moving and important book. It's a nice reminder that even though Anne was going through so much, she was still a normal teenage girl with hopes and dreams.

Exactly, it shows that in even when faced with adversity people still usually grow and mature normally. Anne was just so amazing!
