After going through what he did with Cho, I think it taught him to get to know the person better before getting romantically involved.

Yes, typical men. It reminds me of Romeo. We started reading the play last week in school. He's all sad a depressed over his old girlfriend, then he sees Juiet, who he knew for three seconds, thought she was pretty, and waked over to her and started kissing her. He didn't even know her name!
